Our friends at RidewithLocals in Iceland invited us to be the first to experience their new 6-day ride up into the wild north east of Iceland. With 90%+ of the ride offroad, we experienced some amazing scenery over the week, from waterfalls, to glaciers.
Along with a group of nine riders, we headed out from the RidewithLocals HQ on the southern coast, up through the highlands on fast, flowing, trails with dozens of river crossings.
Our rides for the week were a GasGas 700, a KTM 450 XCW, and a Husqvarna 701 Enduro. Accommodations were mainly remote mountain huts, with a few days in the middle of the tour at hotels. Thanks to our favorite viking Skúli once again for the great hospitality and friendship.
