Images: Simon Cudby – If it’s not at the top of every adventure rider’s bucket list, it’s got to be close! We took a trip to see our friends at ridewithlocals.is for an adventure in the Iceland highlands area north east of the town of Selfoss.
Our guide and owner of the tour company, Skúli Már Gunnarsson, took us to places that are definitely off the beaten tourist routes. We stayed in mountain huts close to glaciers and rivers, and rode on trails that could be described as “moon like”.
