Riding the 2025 Giant Loop event at Crane Hot Springs, Oregon meant epic miles, new skills, gear exploration, unforgettable trails, and top-tier soak-and-social evenings. It’s a standout on the ADV calendar—whether you’re chasing adventure, growth, or camaraderie in big landscapes.
Giant Loop Ride 2025
Crane Hot Springs as basecamp delivered perfect balance: epic days on the bike, followed by soaking in natural hot springs, hot showers, running water, and relaxed evenings with music, guest speakers, happy hours—and a vendor village of 20+ gear companies. The campsite felt more like a laid‑back backyard party with fellow riders.
Riders experienced a few intense days of riding, with over 750 miles of GPS‑tracked routes through high desert, mountain passes, sandy playa, two‑track, gravel, and creek crossings. Riders could tailor their days: from mellow loops to the harder routes—packed with rocks, ruts, and remote miles for thrill‑seekers.
- The good: Tailored ride options, professional clinics, demos, cave tour, hot springs, strong community energy.
- The challenging: Rough terrain on harder loops— suitable tires were a necessity!
Who it’s great for: Anyone into ADV or dual‑sport who wants a balanced weekend—technical trails, learning, gear, and shared fun in stunning high‑desert scenery.
For 2026 Giant Loop is planning on expanding to four rides in California, Idaho, Colorado, and the original Crane Springs, Oregon location.
