“You should come and ride with us in New Zealand!” That was adventure legend Chris Birch inviting us to NZ when we met up with him recently in Idaho.
We headed way south to Auckland and connected with two of our Kiwi riding buddies, Liam Ellis and Charlie Brown. The plan was a 6 day ride from Palmerston North at AFC Motorcycles on the north island, down to Dunedin on the South Island and connect with the KTM New Zealand 2023 ADV Rallye. We met up with @nzbirchy on our second day, and hit up a big variety of trails on our 2000 mile zigzag course south.
Big thanks to Liam, AFC Motorcycles, KTM New Zealand, Charlie, Chris, Randy, and our two other riders who joined us, Hadley Brown and Matt Truebridge. Long days in the saddle and good laughs along the way made a trip to remember!
