We recently had the opportunity to try out the new KOVE 450 Rally bikes in beautiful St. George, Utah. Coming in the summer of 2023 there will be two versions of the KOVE machine, a $8,999 Standard version, and a $13,999 Rally 450 Pro Race model.
The KOVE 450 bike is a new off-road machine that has been designed to compete in rally racing with the Pro Race model, but could also be considered as a smaller ADV bike option with the street legal Standard version. It has been built with a range of features that make it well-suited for tough terrain, including long-travel suspension, high ground clearance, and a powerful engine.
One of the most striking things about the KOVE 450 Rally bike is its design. The bike looks aggressive and sleek, with a bold color scheme that gives it a distinctive appearance. The bodywork has been designed to be lightweight and aerodynamic, which should help to improve the bike’s performance in rally racing, and also on the road in the street legal version.
The bike’s engine is a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder unit that produces around 50 horsepower. This should give the bike plenty of power for tackling rough terrain and high-speed sections on an all day adventure. The engine has been designed to be reliable and durable, with a focus on low-maintenance requirements.
The KOVE 450 Rally bike also features a range of advanced electronics, including a dashboard display that provides the rider with real-time data on speed, fuel levels, and other important metrics.
Overall, the KOVE 450 Rally bike looks like a high-performance machine that has been designed with rally racing in mind, but can do double duty as an adventure bike due to it’s 300+ mile range from an 8 gallon fuel capacity.
Ultimately, the choice of bike for adventure riding will depend on the individual rider’s needs and preferences. It’s important to consider factors such as comfort, range, and handling when selecting a bike for this type of riding. We enjoyed our first few days on the KOVE bikes riding through some beautiful terrain, and look forward to riding them again when the full production models are delivered summer of 2023.
