Images: Simon Cudby – Our annual Offroad Underground Baja Ride was a blast this year! We were lucky to have multi-time motocross and supercross champion Grant Langston along for the adventure.
Our route took us from the border town of Tecate down the Compadre Trail to Ojos Negros. From there we picked up the crossover trail to Uruapan. This was quite challenging on our big KTM and Husqvarna ADV bikes, but we made it through unscathed. After a bite to eat at the Restaurant Acambaro, we made a run down the Mexico Highway 1 to visit our friends at Cuatro Casa hotel. The owner Richard was full of comedy as usual, and we ended up staying for two nights at this great spot on the Pacific coast.
After a day ride north of Cuatro Casa, we headed east to Valle De Trinidad, then on to the vast El Diablo dry lake bed. We spent two days in San Felipe at Stella Del Mar hotel, and spent the next day exploring the local area looking for great photo spots.
